A woman with shoulder-length light brown hair and sunglasses smiling outdoors. Behind her are two tall cypress trees, a hilly landscape, and a blue sky with some clouds.

Hi! My name is Alejandra Zibes, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over 20 years of experience supporting people through different seasons of life.

I am a cisgender, able-bodied, uninvited settler on the traditional, unceded territory of the Katzie First Nation. I hold an ongoing awareness of the privilege of being invited into people’s lives, and of witnessing their stories of strength, resistance, and courage as they make sense of their experiences.

Originally from Argentina, I offer counselling in both English and Spanish, and bring a culturally responsive and relational lens to my work.

I am also a mother of two teenagers who continuously make life more adventurous and meaningful. They are my true teachers, often adding depth, perspective, and wisdom to my own journey.

I believe healing happens in connection, and that you don’t have to carry things alone. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about your growth and wellbeing, I would be glad to connect with you.

Outside of my work, I’m a dog lover at heart—something that reflects my appreciation for connection, presence, and the simple moments that bring comfort and joy.
